Chemico-genetic Proximity proteomics

In Vivo BioID (iBioID) is a chemico-genetic approach we have developed to identify protein complexes as they exist in vivo.  This method is an adaptation of BioID, originally published in 2013.  iBioID was develop by our lab and originally published as an article in Science, where we used the method in mouse brain to discover the protein complexes regulating a fundamental synapse type- GABAergic postsynapses. This site contains links to further improve the method as well as to help other labs adopt iBioID for their own research.
